Bondi Beach to host ‘world’s longest outdoor bookcase’
Bondi Beach in Sydney will hold a book swap this Sunday 31 January, when Ikea celebrates 30 years of the ‘Billy’ bookcase by lining up bookcases along the beach to create the ‘world’s longest outdoor bookcase’. Readers are being encouraged to swap one of their own books for a book from the shelves or take one in exchange for a gold coin donation that will go to the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation.
